Hi, I’m Jacey!
I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in California, and I genuinely love what I do.
I believe people are more capable of change than they give themselves credit for, and getting to be part of that?! I don't take that lightly.
I show up warm, real, and without judgment. My job is to create a space where you can actually be yourself & not the version you present to everyone else, the real one. From there, we figure out what's going on, what you want, and how to get there. It's collaborative, it's honest, and it'll probably challenge you a little.
That's kind of the point.
Most of the people I work with would describe themselves as overthinkers, high achievers running on empty, or recovering people-pleasers, and they all have one thing in common: they're frustrated with where they are and ready to do something about it.
If you've been carrying a lot for a long time and you're finally at the point where something has to change, you're probably exactly who I work with.
I especially love working with BIPOC and LGBTQ+ individuals navigating identity, relationships, or the messy in-between phases of life. My hope is that this feels like one less space where you have to explain yourself and one more space where you can just be.
Who I Work With
How I Work
I show up as my authentic self in the therapy room. With that, I also believe that the relationship between therapist and client matters, and that not every therapist is the right fit for every person.
My style is warm, collaborative, and occasionally humorous, while also being direct when needed. If you're looking for a therapist who simply listens and nods, I'm probably not the best fit for you.
I genuinely love what I do, and part of that means being an active participant in the room. I'll ask questions, offer observations, challenge patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and help you connect awareness to meaningful action.
Insight is powerful, but real change happens when we do something with it.
A Bit About Me
Outside of sessions, you'll usually find me with a coffee in hand, chasing some form of movement, spending time with loved ones, or planning my next adventure.
That same passion for growth, connection, and meaningful change that I bring to the therapy room carries into my life outside of it.
Through public speaking and community involvement with organizations like The Trevor Project and TEDx, I enjoy creating opportunities for meaningful conversations, sharing stories, and helping people feel more connected to themselves and those around them.

Therapy
I pull from a range of evidence-based approaches and blend them in a way that fits you.
My work is primarily grounded in EMDR, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Strength-Based approaches (yes, I also love a CBT reframe), but the way we actually work together will depend on you- what you're carrying, what you need, and what's going to move the needle. Some people need to process what's been stored in the body. Others need to get clear, get practical, and start building on what's already working. Whatever you need, we figure it out together.
